Paige Wolf, Ph.D., SPHR
Paige P. Wolf has over 16 years of experience as an internal and external consultant on strategic human resource initiatives and maintains an active consulting practice through her own company, Performance Matters, LLC. Her work with both private and public sector clients has focused on improving human potential and effectiveness at work and included projects involving team building; organizational development; competency modeling; performance management, employee selection systems; career planning; employee training and development; leadership assessment; and human resource audits.
Dr. Wolf is the Director of Graduate Programs and an Associate Professor of Management in the School of Management at George Mason University (GMU). At GMU Dr. Wolf has taught both MBA and undergraduate courses in Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, and Teamwork and Leadership. She is the recipient of the George Mason University Teaching Excellence Award and has been recognized for her innovation in teaching by the School of Management (SOM).
Dr. Wolf received her Ph.D. in industrial-organizational psychology at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and maintains her Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute. In addition, Dr. Wolf is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, Academy of Management, Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and American Society for Training and Development. She has as presented several papers at professional conferences and is published in the Academy of Management Learning and Education Journal, Journal of Social Psychology, Human Resource Management, Encyclopedia of Creativity, The IBM Center for Business and Government Competition and Choice Series, and The Industrial/Organizational Psychologist.
