Sreeram Visvanathan

Sreeram Visvanathan is a Managing Partner, Public Sector (Global) IBM Global Business Services. At IBM, he is responsible for covering business models and technology in the Middle East; he currently works in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. His clients work in many different industries including government, defense, education and health care. He has a technical/engineering background complimented with his management experience and believes planning, preparation and collaboration are critical to internal and external stakeholders. He has been successful in many efforts with the company such as establishing IBM in South Africa. Prior to his current position, Sreem gained much international experience working across Europe and the Middle East for the Nestle Group, Redland (a large UK-based construction company), Dubai Aluminium Company Ltd (DUBAL) and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has worked for IBM in varying roles and consulted for IBM before becoming a managing partner. He has a technical/engineering background complimented with his management experience and believes planning, preparation and collaboration are critical to internal and external stakeholders. He feels strongly about giving back to both his professional and personal communities and is seeking opportunities to grow and help others succeed.
