Members of the FEGC offer innovative ideas to improve government based on their past and extensive experience as senior officials at the Federal, State, and local levels. They provide thought leadership that draws on lessons learned and effective practice developed during their careers in government.

The FEGC reflects a “voice of the government” perspective, and meets periodically to help expand content offered through the Center on key issues, challenges, and opportunities facing the public sector. Members of the FEGC are available as expert resources, speakers, or senior advisors.

Dan Chenok is Executive Director of the IBM Center for The Business of Government. Prior to joining IBM, he served as Chief for the Information Policy and Technology Branch with the Office of Management and Budget.

Curtis Clark is a Director with the IBM Global Government Industry. Prior to joining IBM, he spent over 17 years with the State of North Carolina, where he held various executive and legislative positions.

Brenda Decker is a Director with the IBM Global Government Industry.  Prior to joining IBM, she was the Chief Information Officer for the State of Nebraska.

John Kamensky is a Senior Fellow with the IBM Center for The Business of Government. Prior to joining the IBM Center, he served for eight years as deputy director of Vice President Gore's National Partnership for Reinventing Government.

Douglas P. McGovern is an Associate Partner with IBM's Global Business Services.  Prior to joining IBM, he served as Chief Information Officer (CIO) and director of IT Services at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).

Mark Newsome is an Associate Partner with IBM's Global Business Services.  Prior to joining IBM, he served as Army Medical Service Corps Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and over 25 years of active duty service.

Stephen Morris is an Associate Partner with IBM's Global Business Services.  Prior to joining IBM, he served as the Assistant Director of the FBI’s Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division

Jesse Samberg is a Director with IBM's Global Business Services. Prior to joining IBM, he served New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) as the Director of their Shared Services initiatives.

Timothy Stitely is a Partner with IBM's Global Business Services. Prior to joining IBM, he served as Chief Information Officer, Food and Drug Administration, HHS.

Lieutenant General Jeffrey Talley is a Vice President with IBM's Global Business Services and a Global Fellow with the IBM Center for The Business of Government.  Prior to joining IBM, he served as Chief and Commanding General, United States Army Reserve.

Tony Trenkle is Chief Health Information Officer with IBM's Global Business Services. Prior to joining IBM, he served as Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Director of the Office of Information Services for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
