J. Woody Stanley has 45 years of combined work experience in the private and
public sector. He retired from the U.S. Department of Transportation in 2020
after 25 years of federal government service. His last position was Senior
Advisor for Strategic Management in the Federal Highway Administration. He
holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of North Carolina, a
master in business administration from Fuqua School of Business, Duke
University, and a doctorate in public administration from the Sol Price School of
Public Policy, University of Southern California.
